The Workshop
Benchworks has been operating in Emu Plains for 12 years, and at it's current location in Smith Street for the past 8 years. The  owners are Jason & Carolyn Burgmann who took over the business in January of 2003. Our aim is to develop a "community friendly workshop", where workshop members feel a sense of ownership and can make use of the facilities to create, explore and gain satisfaction from fine woodworking.
Benchworks is currently running evening and daytime fine woodworking classes.

Teachers
Jason's experience as an Industrial Arts Head Teacher, Pattern Maker (Engineer) and Forman in a Cabinet Making Firm hold him in good stead for conducting the classes and designing your fine furniture. Ian Vince is a High School Industrial Arts teacher and has just joined our team this year.
