Introductory Fine Woodworking
- $407.00

This course runs for 3 hours one day a week for  8 weeks and introduces you to:

* Specialist tools and their uses

* Accurate measuring & marking out

* Traditional joinery

* Study of Australian timbers

* Woodworking terms

* Sharpening Demonstration

There are only 8 students in each class and tuition is by one of our fully experienced tutors. A light supper/morning tea is provided halfway through a session and a discussion is usually held during this time on various woodworking topics.

 

3 Day Weekend Introductory Course - $407.00

This course runs periodically throughout the year (usually during school holidays). The course runs on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 9.30am-4.00pm each day or over a long weekend Saturday to Monday. It has all the inclusions of the 8 week introductory course as well as some tool sharpening and some further woodworking skills (time permitting). Morning and afternoon tea are provided each day with lunch also included on the last day.

 

Ongoing Classes - $432.00

Once you have completed the Introductory Course or if you have had previous woodworking experience  you may use our facilities to complete your own masterpieces. There  will still be assistance and supervision as required. These classes run for 3 hours one day week for 10 weeks and  are a great opportunity to network and learn from others that may  have been attending  for some years. Days of operation are:

          *   Monday , Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6pm-9pm

          *   Saturday 1pm-4pm
